@@puenboy1 it doesn't, but it's still a good roll. Crit>atk%>atk>dmg bonus. Why? Because all dmg bonus is additive, so we already get 60% from the 3 costs, then the fact that most kits have scalings split between multiple dmg sources, while flat atk boosts all dmg.

@@jirorijn don't get me wrong tho.. i still love Genshin, what i hate is the company behind it.. i dont' have fun on Genshin cause they only release sh*t lately.. but when big patches come our way i always have fun with exploration and killing bosses etc.. sadly that completely die after a couple weeks when everything is 100% ... and the game come back to its usual 1 year of bullsh*t quest.

Well it just launched so obviously numbers will be very high right now. It's bound to have huge sales numbers for June at least. Long-term though, I highly doubt it's going to be on the levels of Genshin and HSR in terms of revenue, those games have just become too mainstream and widespread to be knocked over that easily.

Imo it may not “knock over” Genshin Impact but it will be a competitor for the foreseeable future. Wuwa’s launch was enormously successful and I think as long as it is able to keep up with the demand it could well be the Genshin Impact Killer, if Hoyoverse doesn’t innovate it is gonna just die slowly, imo.

@@jirorijn People keep saying that but Genshin's average monthly player count has flatlined at 60-65 million for the past 2 years now. It's not shown any sign statistically of moving in either direction anymore.
I think the issue Wuwa will have is that it's predominantly trying to sell itself on good combat gameplay, but most gacha players play on mobile and this game is not very friendly for casuals to play on phone even disregarding the performance issues. So that's probably going to dent the numbers by itself, but also I think it's difficult to sustain a single player game on gameplay alone long-term without significant content updates to keep things fresh.
I think Wuwa will need a ton of endgame content as well as new systems that actually reward people from just jumping in and playing whenever they want. All these cool combat moves don't amount to a whole lot if all you can do with it is the tower and fighting holograms after all. They should maybe look at how ARPGs like Diablo or Path of Exile handle things like this for some inspiration.
Otherwise they will have to really step it up and improve the story a lot from the mess that 1.0 writing was if they want that to be any sort of long-term hook for the playerbase. Not impossible, but not off to a great start on that point at least.

Cmon man, i dont mind the clickbait titles. But this one is dumb as f*ck. Im loving Wuthering Waves, and ill still keep on playing Genshin Impact.
But Genshin Impact made over 5 billion dollars as of February this year. No, Wuthering Waves is not set to surpass anything for the next 3 years.
The game released a month ago. If it keeps half the playerbase for the next 3 months, it will do pretty good in the long run.
But keep in mind WuWa is mechanically a lot harder to play than Genshin. Playing in a phone is impossible unless you have a remote. At least for casual players, which are the vast majority.
And also dont forget Zenless Zone Zero releases in 10 days. WuWa did not release with that much content, and unless you're trying to explore 100% of the map, there is barely anything to do after a month. That is not a good start.

i know all this might be just speculation but i would incline to believe it more if they give factual examples. Cherry picking lowest monthly revenue from genshin to compare to Wuwa launch banners are dishonest. To add more to it, it did not even compare both games on launch banners as a base comparison. I would like Wuwa to succeed as im enjoying the game but i do not like all this post painting a false narrative as it gives a false expectation of the game.

Actually June's revenue report on July 1 would be the best comparison. Remember Clorinde I think released just 1 day earlier than Yinlin and their banners overlapped through the majority of this month.
