I traveled to Secrets Moxche for an annual sister trip in May 2024. This was my second time at this resort and once again, enjoyed my stay. I booked through Dream Makers Vacation Services. They are my go to travel agency.The resort is about a 40 minute ride from the Cancun airport. We arrived to the resort and were greeted with a welcome drink and cool towel. Our room was ready when we checked in around 2pm which was super nice to be able to get all our stuff situated and change to start enjoying the resort. We booked a Preferred Club Ocean View Double room. The room was a good size, came with a mini fridge stocked with juice, beer, and soda, a wine fridge with 3 bottles of wine, and a balcony with a soaking tub. Preferred Club comes with access to the lounge and what I thought was the best part of being in PC was access to the rooftop infinity pool & restaurant. Secrets Moxche is definitely a pool resort. There are so many different types of pools all around the property. My favorites were the large cenote like pool and the main activity pool. The staff at the swim up bar at the activity pool were awesome and always kept the drinks coming! The cenote pool didn’t have a swim up bar but the servers around the pool were very good at getting drink orders & were quick to refill. The beach at Secrets Moxche is small and not great. There was a red flag up everyday and tractors were brought in to clear the seaweed. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this resort for beach lovers.I really enjoyed the food at Secrets Moxche! The menus at the restaurants were a little eclectic for my plain tastes but everything that I ordered was very good. I loved the Italian restaurant for dinner and the little poolside grill & Preferred Club rooftop restaurant for lunches. Three things that I really loved about Secrets Moxche were the live singers/entertainment at the pool during the day and also outside at night. All the performers were great and it was nice to listen to something other than the standard resort music. I also really loved the Gypsy club/speakeasy that opened up every night after the show in the theater. Make sure to get the password to get in from the entertainment staff during the day! The third thing that I highly enjoyed was the sports bar, Dark Horse. This bar has everything… pool tables, Foosball, a golf simulator, multiple big screen tvs, and excellent service! It was fun to go here every night for an after dinner drink and hang out. Overall this was the perfect resort for an annual sister getaway! I would definitely go back. This place is beautiful. Ideal for all types of getaways, whether you want to completely relax and chill or if you want to get involved in a more active capacity. This place is beautiful. Ideal for all types of getaways, whether you want to completely relax and chill or if you want to get involved in a more active capacity. There are multiple pools that are secluded so if you want a chill day, you can stay by a different pool, and if you want to have more of a lively day, you have other pools. The rooms are super clean and comfortable, his and her sinks are also included in the Preferred Club Ocean View Junior Suite. Preferred club is great as you get to go and have your own space with a great view of the resort with more of a chilled vibe. The food up there is great for breakfast and lunch also. For the room and the access to the rooftop, it was worth the preferred club. Apart from those benefits, around the resort it doesn’t make much difference if you’re preferred club or not. Jose and Miguel in the entertainment team made our stay special. We’re not big into hotel entertainment but they have convinced us otherwise. They had energy every single day and make this place unique. Elias the pool-side attendant put a smile on our face everyday too. The people here are lovely and couldn’t do more for you. The service is incredible. You want a drink while sunbathing by the pool, you have someone come round every 20/30 mins asking, and that’s all day everyday. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a real 5* all inclusive holiday to Mexico, on the beach with things to do at all times. We will be back for sure! Read less

This resort is actually AMAZING. The entire staff is hardworking as well super kind and patient. I traveled here with my family on a fun vacation and this resort made it a 12/10 experience. I was definitely the youngest person here (18) and had the time of my life. The entertainment team, Jose, Miguel, Monica, Victor, Fermin, and Carlos made the pool and night activities a blast. Pool volleyball as well as basketball was the highlight of my trip. It was super fun and competitive :) The entertainment team was amazing but also the drink, food and umbrella workers knew how to make your day at the pool/beach relaxing. Juan and Miguel truly know customer service. They brought our drinks so quick and constantly checked in on us. Alan sure knows how to make a killer piña colada. Every drink I had was so good. Every hour Carlos, Alejandro, and Elias made sure our umbrellas were at the right angle or place. They always made sure we had sun or shade, which was very nice. The drinks were really good, but the food was much better. At the Barefoot Cafe Alexandra takes your order right away while the chefs prepare it right away. The burgers and hot dogs are actually so good (better then the states). One night we ate at the Italian restaurant. We legit had four workers helping us. Carlos, Alberto, Armando and Enrique all chipped in and helped deliver food, and drinks as well as making sure everything was going well. All of them are super nice and very professional. On our last night we had asian food. I highly recommend going here. The food is actually INSANELY GOOD. Daniel was our server and made our night so fun!! He cracked jokes as well as kept us in the loop of how long our food will take. I would definitely check out the asian restaurant. Two nights we went to the night time shows (Quirky and the Candle Light) and had many laughs as well as watching some entertaining acts. The special drinks at the shows are actually so good. We kept going back. Overall, my family and I will be back. This place was so friendly and welcoming. Room service and turn down service (I highly recommend) was super quick and they cleaned exceptionally well. Everything about this place was amazing and I have nothing negative to say! Read less

Very nice experience. Rooftop pool was great. Food was very good. Not very busy so they had some limited meal venues
