Go out of your way to take business ethics with Dr. deBruijn. This class is not hard but some of his lectures got boring. He does his best to make them interesting through discussions. He gave us practice quizzes before tests with many questions reappearing. He did not enforce readings and class got cancelled a good bit. The final is also take-home

truly enjoyed this class. he is super sweet and taught well. lecture isn't mandatory but go if you want to really understand the material. he posts powerpoints but having his explanations are necessary in my opinion. quizzes are straightforward and easy if you go to class. i actually love him take him if you can

Dr deBruijn is one of my favorite professors so far at Auburn. He has clear expectations but if you come to class and participate you should do well. He is approachable so go to his office hours or reach out to him if you have an issues. He cares about the students and wants them to do well. I would take him again.

There are only 4 graded exams the entire semester. Slides were confusing and were not helpful. Anytime you would ask for clarification you leave more confused than you were to start with. Went to every class and paid attention and left not understanding any of the information. Questions on exams are full of grammatical errors and make no sense.

Overall Dr. deBruijn's class is all lectures with his three quizzes and end of the year exam. Do not underestimate his quizzes though, seeing how there are only three they make up a big percentage of your grade. Other than that as long as you go to class and understand the material discussed in the slides you should do fine.

Lectures were sometimes difficult to understand, however some were interesting. Would sometimes go over stuff that wouldn't even be on the exams. Its finals week and I literally do not know any of my grades yet, so i could possibly be failing. Does not respond to emails fast at all. I tried making up my exam and it took him 2 weeks to respond.

don't take. I personally found it hard and boring as get out. skipped this class the most this semester. doesn't use canvas like he says he does and never responds to emails. he'll say he posted the grades but he didn't and its literally finals week. most people like it but its like all upperclass engineer majors and I am the far opposite of that

Mr.DeBruijn was quite unprofessional when I took him last spring. He graded one of my exams 2 grade letters worse than I actually did and It required me emailing him and making him look over my test for him to fix it. Dont think he really cares about teaching, is just doing it for whatever he uses the paycheck for.

Dr. deBrujin was overall an amazing teacher. Attending class is a must, his tests are pretty much straight from lectures. You can't really get all of the information you need from just the PowerPoints. He was very engaging with the class, and approached the material from a very neutral point of view. Tests were specific, but not at all impossible.

Dr. deBruijn's class, as all philosophy, was sometimes too nuanced. You had to be in class to understand his slides (random pictures that make no sense without his comments). However, his quizzes were pretty straight-forward so long as you studied your class notes. He did not post any grades on Canvas, which was really frustrating.

He's a nice professor, but his lectures are a little all over the place. The class is pretty easy if you show up and take notes. However, he does not use Canvas. You have to email him to get your grade, and he is not very responsive. It was extremely frustrating.

Dr. deBruijn has definitely been one of my favorite professors this semester. His lectures are on somewhat boring stuff, but he encourages participation and tries to make it interesting and fun. There are no assignments and the readings are only recommended. Tests are not super hard, but you do have to study and attend class! Overall great class!

DeBrujin is an interesting teacher. His lectures are monotonous and boring, but he tries his best to get his students involved. His only grades are 4 or 5 quizzes that count as tests, and he makes them very precise and difficult. If you go to class and write notes, you'll be fine. If you do not, you will have no idea what he is talking about.

deBruijn is truly a great teacher and wants you to succeed. At first the class might seem hard as it is a lot of vague topics but dont worry. The class is graded on a few discussion board/one page papers/and 2 quizzes that are SO easy! Got 95% on both quizzes just by reading study guide & adding to it with a little research online. Super easy.

Great professor! Heavy material though, if philosophers and ethics is a good strong point for you, he's a great teacher. My mistake was not going to class. Go to class and you'll do great in this class, he is 100% a very good guy and really wants you to succeed.
